Embedded Business Development Specialist – Edge Computing and AI Solutions

In this role you will focus on the Edge AI computing segments which include system/board level solutions, modules and chip down and be responsible for establishing key customers, developing a solid understanding of the customers’ end systems and market position.   Understanding product desires, communicating the customers’ present and future design challenges, presenting business proposals as well as value proposition and system solutions for the responsible market segment.  This role combines business development and selling professional services. The right person will enjoy working with diverse people, problem solving, and constant challenges.

Job Description

  • Strong business development skills ability to seek out and develop new customer opportunities.
  • Provide prompt support for opportunities or issues by the sales force, application engineers and manufacturer’s rep teams.
  • Escalate and manage complex issues requiring factory engineering support to applicable supplier.
  • Develop a detailed and steadily increasing knowledge of relevant products.
  • Create supplier related business plans to meet annual sales budgets including business analysis, competitive landscape, challenges, and obstacles.
  • Plan, coordinate, and present regular business reviews for key accounts with management teams.
  • Present training and mentoring to internal staff.
  • Attend industry functions and provide feedback and information on market and trends.
  • Identify opportunities for campaigns and services that will lead to an increase in sales.
  • Meet quarterly business goals.

Qualifications

  • Prefer 1-3 years’ experience in related sales and electronic distribution
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Must be extremely flexible due to the changing priority of project initiatives
  • Must possess superior interpersonal, analytical and organizational skills
  • Must have great attention to detail in planning and documentation
  • Self-motivated, client-focused and possess the ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to work independently or with sales people

Preferred Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3-5 years’ sales experience
  • Technical knowledge and/or Bachelor’s degree (Engineering is preferred)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Must be extremely flexible due to the changing priority of project initiatives
  • Effective negotiation skills
  • Must have great attention to detail in planning and documentation
  • Self-motivated, client-focused and possess the ability to work well under pressure
  • Strong presentation, written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to travel, work independently and/or with sales people

Regional Technical Manager – AI, Memory, Embedded and FPGA

In this position you will focus on technology segments and will be responsible for establishing key customers, developing a solid understanding of the customers’ end systems and market position. Understanding product desires, communicating the customers’ present and future design challenges, presenting business proposals as well as value proposition and system solutions for the responsible market segment. This role has regional responsibility and combines business development at existing customers, new customer acquisition and the development and deployment of technical marketing programs. The right person will enjoy working with diverse people, problem solving, and constant challenges.
