We strive to be socially responsible business partners. Customers, suppliers and employees are encouraged to communicate concerns or suggested enhancements so we can work together toward overall improvement.
Quality Certification
The WPG Americas Quality Management System is certified to AS9120B and ISO 9001”2015. This certification covers the California, Arizona and Mississippi locations only.
FTZ
WPG Americas understands that US tariff/duty issues impact our customers directly. To help defer or mitigate these costs, our Southaven, MS distribution center has been designated as an FTZ.
- Duty Elimination – International customers can benefit from duty elimination on products purchased from our U.S. warehouse,
reducing overall costs. - Faster, More Efficient Delivery – Our customs approved, direct delivery process speeds up handling of imported goods,
reducing delays and associated costs. - Zone Transfers for Further Savings – For U.S. customers with active FTZ’s, we offer the option to eliminate duties
through zone-to-zone transfers.
For more information related to the WPG Americas FTZ, please email [email protected].
Counterfeit Prevention
WPG Americas understands the importance of protecting ourselves and our customers from the potential of counterfeit material entering the supply chain, therefore we have implemented an anti-counterfeit program based on the requirements of AS6496.
Export Control
WPG Americas is committed to complying with the US EAR, ITAR and Anti-Boycott regulations in addition to applicable regulations of all countries in which we do business.
Product Compliance
As a distributor representing multiple manufacturers/suppliers, WPG Americas will coordinate with suppliers to provide product compliance declarations as requested.
Cybersecurity
WPG Americas has developed a strong infrastructure to protect the company from cyber-attacks. We recognize that hardware and software are not going to fully protect our system, so employees are regularly trained to recognize potential cyber-attacks via email, text or social media posts and are instructed on how to report potential threats for investigation.
This not only protects WPG Americas, but also adds a layer of protection for the customers, suppliers or other entities we communicate with in the course of business.
