Sales Support Coordinator

In this role will assist in various aspects of support for the office in general; assisting Inside Sales with daily tasks; Outsides Sales with specific requests; and management with projects as required. Manage support functions for Inside and Outside Sales and Sales Management; customer service responsibility and office support.

Operations Sales Representative

In this role you will be responsible for handling all supply chain programs for our Lighting customers.  In addition to performing the tactical sales activities of the business, servicing requirements for parts; responding to inquiries; opening new accounts; expediting orders; developing business relationships with new and existing customers; and coordination with other Sales department personnel to perform joint activities and projects.  Work with the field sales team and supplier partners to generate sales growth and enhance gross profit.   This role will be responsible for handling inventory counts and operational type functions for Lighting customers.

Job Description

  • Work closely managing the tactical sales operation process – order entry new account set ups, servicing customer requests and expediting orders
  • Handle all supply chain consignments for Lighting customers nationally
  • Travel to consignment locations to manage inventory counts
  • Responsible for the planning, scheduling and monitoring of material through the customers production cycle
  • Monitor inventory accuracy and target levels for purchased and produced parts to meet production and customer needs and ensure target inventory goals are met
  • Provides analytical insights for supply chain design, process development and improvement initiatives to reinforce the goals of Operational Excellence
  • Interacts internally with various departments – product, warehouse, field sales and management
  • Uses basic knowledge of product line cards matching product offerings/solutions to customer needs business analysis, competitive landscape, ROI measurement, challenges and obstacles Coordinate quoting, booking and tracking business to other geographic regions

Qualifications

  • 5 to 7 years sales experience with a proven record of growth in a business-to-business environment
  • Supply Chain Experience a must.

Regional Development Specialist – Lighting & Power

In this role you will focus on Lighting and Power and will be responsible for establishing key customers, developing a solid understanding of the customers’ end systems and market position.   Understanding product desires, communicating the customers’ present and future design challenges, presenting business proposals as well as value proposition and system solutions for the responsible market segment.  This role combines business development and selling professional services. The right person will enjoy working with diverse people, problem solving, and constant challenges.

In this role you will be responsible for solution selling of technology products and services to customers that design, manufacture or purchase in the OEM market as well as Electronic Manufacturing Service space. Develop relationships in existing account base and generate new customers through account development to expand the reach of WPG Americas as a distributor. Work with inside sales team, applications engineers, and supplier partners to generate sales growth, enhance gross profit and secure new designs.
